Why is the Y2Y important?
The Rocky Mountain region stretching from Yellowstone in Wyoming to the Yukon in Canada, known as the Y2Y region, forms an interconnected web of life where wildlife such as grizzly bears and wolves still roam freely.
Why is the Y2Y threatened?
Development pressures continue to grow throughout the Rocky Mountains, with mining and oil and gas development, more people moving to the mountains and all of the infrastructure and roads that these activities entail.
