Party leaders answer six environmental questions
Eleven of Canada\'s largest environmental organizations, including CPAWS, put six questions to the leaders of the five main political parties in Canada\'s 2008 federal election..
The groups asked the leaders if they would:
- put a price on greenhouse gas pollution in 2009;
- save spaces and species;
- make Canada a leader in negotiating Kyoto II;
- support a national water strategy;
- commit to expanding renewable energy and
- share their personal commitment to fighting climate change.
Four of the five leaders have responded with short video answers to each question. View the videos in a special Election 2008 feature at TomorrowTodayCanada.ca.
