Honourable John Crosbie speaks on ocean conservation at CPAWS event


At the unveiling of a marine guide entitled Special Marine Areas in Newfoundland and Labrador: Areas of Interest in Our Marine Backyard  by the CPAWS- Nfld chapter in St John’s, the Honourable John Crosbie voiced his opinion about the need for Canadians to take responsibility for the health of our oceans, referring to lessons learned from the 1990s collapse of the cod fishery.
