Huge advance for Boreal protection

CPAWS was key in winning one of the biggest wilderness protection gains in Canada's history. Ontario premier Dalton McGuinty announced this month that his government will protect an area of Ontario's Northern Boreal more than half the size of California--over 225,000km2!
