CPAWS Yukon reviews Peel Watershed Planning Commission’s Report
The mineral development scenario report prepared for the Yukon\'s Peel Watershed Planning Commission, and funded by the Yukon Government, is a flawed and biased document according to CPAWS Yukon. CPAWS Yukon is gravely concerned that this report assumes that the public interest is best served by exploitation of mineral resources in the Peel watershed and fails to account for constraints to mineral development.
