Parks officials and environmentalists were hoping to get through a season without a grizzly death, but that is not the case this year. Unfortunately, this seems to be a case of a family of bears being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The mother of the cubs, bear #130, was unharmed, and she will likely still go on to have several litters of cubs in the future.
