Come join CPAWS Ottawa Valley for the official launch of our Make it a Real Park campaign, an initiative to establish legislative protection for Gatineau Park. March 11 (7-10pm) at Maker House Co. (987 Wellington W) La Société pour la nature et les parcs du Canada (SNAP), Section Vallée de l'Outaouais vous invite à vous joindre à elle le 11 mars prochain de 19h à 22 h à Maker House Co. (987 Wellington W), pour le lancement officiel de la campagne UN VRAI PARC. Il s'agit d'une initiative visant à octroyer une protection législative au Parc de la Gatineau.

CPAWS Ottawa Valley 45th Anniversary
On Thursday, November 5, we celebrated our forty fifth anniversary in style with an inspiring lecture on conservation followed by a reception at the University of Ottawa. Over 200 people joined us for this special occasion and to listen to two of North America's best known naturalists, Mike Runtz and Jeff Wells talk about the unique conservation opportunities found in our region and beyond. Thank you to all who attended.

Invasive Species Project a HLNR
Invasive species are a threat to native biodiversity. Thanks to a grant from the Great Lakes Guardian Community Fund we were able to develop invasive species management plans for three protected areas in the region.
