CPAWS-NWT NewsNorth editorial on Parks Canada cuts: Monday May 14
The staff and board of CPAWS-NWT would like to express our utmost regret over the deep staffing reductions at Parks Canada that were announced on April 30th, as well as our support for the employees who have been affected, including both those who are being forced out and those who will continue their important work. This was a dark day, not just for those directly affected, but for all Northerners and Canadians.
