Call for nominations for J.B. Harkin Conservation Award
The J.B. Harkin Medal is Canada’s most prestigious conservation award. It is presented by CPAWS to individuals who have made a significant life-long contribution to the conservation of Canada’s parks and wilderness.
If you know of a Canadian whom you believe deserves this award, please submit your nomination with a 150 word summary, in confidence, to the J.B. Harkin Conservation Award Committee at harkin@cpaws.org. Nominations will be accepted until March 1, 2010.
The award is named for James Bernard Harkin, Canada’s 1st Commissioner of National Parks.
