Let's turn a dream to reality: Protect the Dumoine

Despite numerous promises made by the Government of Quebec to achieve its goal of protecting at least 8% of the province, no new announcements of protected areas have been made since February 2007. There are a number of sites across the province where the majority of the stakeholders are in favour of the creation of new protected areas, but the government still remains inactive. Some are even talking about establishing a national (Quebec) park … One such case is the Dumoine.
