CPAWS participates in Green Budget recommendations

Ottawa -- CPAWS and 19 other national environmental and conservation organizations forming the Green Budget Coalition today released their recommendations for the 2007 federal budget at a news conference in Ottawa. The proposals include three CPAWS priorities - conserving healthy ecosystems in the Northwest Territories' Mackenzie Valley; funding for implementing the Species at Risk Act; and advancing an oceans agenda for Canada.
