Mural Mosaic unveiled

July 26, 2006
Nationally renowned artist and mural designer Louis Lavoie has unveiled a spectacular mural that will raise funds and awareness for the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society.

Artists from all across Canada including some of Canada's finest wildlife artists such as Robert Bateman, Beth Hoselton, Daniel Taylor, Gail Adams, Charity Dakin, Ed Kemp, Al Weitzel and many more combined to create a stunning master image through 216 paintings. The mural will unite artists through one incredible Masterpiece to support CPAWS in protecting Canada's important wildlife habitat.

The mural will tour throughout Canada this summer, and then be auctioned off piece by piece in the fall of 2006 to support CPAWS' conservation work.

"Earth's Treasure Chest" is the fifth mural in the series of mosaic projects by Lavoie and fellow mosaic team members Phil Alain and Paul Lavoie.
