Canada celebrates Parks Day today. It is a day dedicated to recognizing one of our most unique and often-sought-after treasures: our national, provincial and urban parks. As a nation, our identity worldwide has always included these natural wonders. Millions of tourists from all over the globe come to Canada looking for something they have lost in their home countries: large expanses of wilderness, conserved in a natural state, open to be discovered, explored and experienced.
