Create a park in Alberta's Castle Wilderness
Alberta is known for its majestic Rocky Mountain Parks, but more conservation work is needed to connect these parks together with secure wildlife corridors. Just north of Waterton Lakes National Park in southern Alberta lies a pair of mountain valleys that are considered one of the richest areas of biodiversity in Alberta. The Castle Wilderness, a critical wildlife corridor, is not yet protected -- and is facing growing threats.

CPAWS is working to create a park in the Castle to ensure wide-ranging wildlife such as grizzly bears can roam unencumbered up and down the southern Canadian Rocky Mountain chain.
