Jan 13 - Outdoor Winter Multicultural Program Info Meeting

CPAWS-OV is beginning a new project this winter to connect new Canadians and their families to nature. We will be doing a series of local activities such as hikes but will also organize a day trip to a sugar bush and other wilderness areas.

There are many positive benefits to being outdoors including increased physical, mental, emotional and cognitive health. We understand that winter can be a challenging time of year, therefore CPAWS-OV is providing a program to help bring people together to connect with each other and nature.

Join us on Saturday January 13, 2018, from 1:00-4:00pm to learn more about this program. At this meeting we will discuss the importance of being connected to nature, our program and planned activities, winter safety and behaviour tips, and trails around Ottawa which are easily accessible by bus.

If you would like to know more about this program, please e-mail Leah Viau at lviau@cpaws.org or call the office at 819-778-3355.

Where: Viscount Alexander Public School (55 Mann Ave, Ottawa, ON K1N 6Y7, Canada)
