Sahoyúé - ?ehdacho and the Sahtugot'ine

F1000013.JPGSahoyúé and ?ehdacho are important cultural and spiritual areas for the Sahtu Dene of Déline, who are also known as the Sahtugotine (pronounced 'sah-too-go-tin-eh').

These two peninsulas are 'cultural landscapes': places where physical landscapes and features are tied to oral histories and place names. They contain exceptional examples of healthy northern boreal forest and wildlife populations. Sahoyúé -?ehdacho helps to define the Sahtugot’ine as a people.
