ATV Destruction
Coalition members have voiced their concerns towards the irresponsible use of ATVs in wetlands, beaches, and other wilderness areas. CPAWS NL and it's partners have launched a campaign to raise awareness to the public, including a twenty foot billboard on Kenmount Road in St. John's.
The oblique landscape images below depict a good example of ATV wetland destruction on the Burin Peninsula in Newfoundland. These trails cause a permanent scar on the landscape, dividing environments, ecosystems, and their inhabitants.
