Notice anything different around here? Over the past 6 months, we've been hard at work creating a cpaws.org that makes learning more and getting involved easier than ever. We'd love to hear your feedback on the site -- feel free to send us an email!

Here a few things to check out while you're visiting:

  • Take action!  In response to a CPAWS campaign, thousands of people wrote letters supporting the creation of  a new National Park in the Nahanni headwaters of the NWT.  Today, the park is quickly becoming a reality. Writing a letter, attending a meeting, or signing a petition really can spur conservation success. Visit the action centre to find out what campaigns we're working on, and get involved.
  • Stay up to date: 40,000 people subscribe to our email list for updates on conservation news and actions across Canada. You can join them -- just fill out the Subscription box to the right of this article (or if you're reading this article elsewhere, visit www.cpaws.org).
  • Find out what's new near you:  13 CPAWS chapters across the country are spearheading local campaigns.  Check out our chapter sites to learn more about local campaigns, volunteering, and other opportunities.
  • And of course, we now have a blog. We'll be posting conservation news, interviews, videos and all kinds of great Canadian wilderness content.  Is there something you'd like to hear more about?  Leave us a comment below.
