Protect Woodland Caribou
Canada's woodland caribou, symbols of our national identity, have declined steadily due to expanding industrial development in the Boreal forest. We can only save the remaining woodland caribou by protecting their habitat in our intact northern Boreal forests.
It's not too late, but governments need to act now. Please let your provincial/territorial representative know that you want them to establish protected areas for caribou before permitting development such as logging, mining and energy development in intact boreal forests.
