National Volunteer Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Provide national leadership to the chapter coordinators
  • Coach new chapter coordinators
  • Chair a monthly conference call to exchange ideas
  • Oversee the development of shared volunteer management tools such as job descriptions and application forms.


Skills:

  • Previous experience coordinating volunteers locally or nationally in a not-for-profit organization.
  • Knowledge of conservation issues and bilingualism would be assets, but are not required.


Work can be done from home, from our National office in Ottawa, or from one of our chapter offices in major cities across Canada.

Time commitment: new role, but estimated at 7 hours/week.
